Returns and Refunds FAQs

Yes, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (2014) you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days after receiving your items. This is commonly known as the 'cooling off' period.

If you decide you would like to return your order, simply let us know within those 7 days and we will be happy to process a full refund upon return of the merchandise. We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase.

In case you need to return an item that is no longer needed, you must contact Shop4 customer service or ask to speak to a human service agent on our live chat to discuss your return (Mon-Fri 08:00-16:30).

We can only accept returns if all the following conditions are met:

• Timing: Products should have been purchased no longer than 30 days prior to the return date.

• Condition: Products must be unopened and in 'as new' condition in their original manufacturer's packaging (all items are checked before refund approval).

• Unused: Products must not have been used or fitted (as we will not be able to resell the item). • Return cost: The buyer needs to arrange and bear the cost of returning unwanted items (for your protection, we recommend using a recorded delivery service).

• Shipping refund: For orders where a carriage charge has been applied, it will not be refunded if the goods are returned.

• Custom products: Any products that have been made or altered to a customer’s request will not be accepted for credit (including ALL cables that are cut to length).

If any products are delivered damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, you can obtain a replacement or full refund provided the original product is returned to us or we agree to the replacement without sight of the damaged item.

Faulty items*: Replacement faulty items will be dispatched once the original item is received back**. Alternatively, we can process a new order which will be refunded when returned to us. Some items (such as showers, water heaters, storage heaters, etc.) will be warranted by the manufacturer who will arrange an on-site engineer visit.***

Incorrect items: Replacements for items sent incorrectly will be dispatched on the same working day if in stock and before our courier cut-off time.

*Please note: Shop 4 Electrical cannot accept any liability for consequential or indirect loss. Faulty goods must be returned within the manufacturer’s warranty period, normally a minimum of 12 months from the date of purchase.

**We will arrange for collection of all faulty or incorrect items via our courier company.

***Important: Please always speak to one of our customer service team or ask to speak to a human service agent on our live chat (Mon-Fri 08:00-16:30), before you uninstall the item as this may cause further unnecessary disruption and delays.

We strive to process refunds promptly after approval. They are usually completed within 7 working days from the date the goods have been received back, but you can typically expect to receive them within 24 to 48 hours.
