The AQ3 Combined Pressure Reducer & Line Strainer may be needed if your nearest cold water draw off from the unit is within 4ft (1.22M).
The check valve is set at 3.5 bar, this will reduce the incoming water pressure and also protects the water tank from any surging water pressures from your water supplier; this in-turn will help prolong the life of the tank and also serves to prevent the expanded water expanding to other cold water draw off points!
