The GivEnergy GIV-HY5.0 is a 5.0kW hybrid inverter, which is suitable for use with LiFePO 4 battery packs. Suitable for installation with new builds or retrofitting into existing solar PV systems, this hybrid inverter offers back-up power (2.5kW) output during a black out and facilitates remote software updating via a Wi-Fi/4G dongle.

The GIV-HY5.0 Gen 1 inverter has an IP65 rated, water-resistant construction for external use. The inverter also allows cloud based monitoring and control through web/app interface. The batteries can be charged directly from solar PV and the grid, utilising a flexible energy tariff.
