The Ei129 is a Switched Input Module, designed for linking from any volt-free closing contacts (e.g. sprinkler systems, fire alarm panels etc.) to trigger 2100, 160RC, 140 and 260 Series Smoke, Heat and CO Alarms.
Description

Features:
• For linking any volt-free closing contacts (e.g. sprinkler systems, fire alarm panels etc.) to 2100, 160RC, 140 and 260 Series Smoke, Heat and CO Alarms
• Activates interconnected alarms when the volt free contacts close (i.e. the sprinkler system/control panel is activated)
• Supplied with cover, or can be mounted under any 2100, 160RC or 140 Series alarm
• 5 Year Guarantee

 

Operation:
• When the volt-free contacts connected to the Switched Input Module are closed, all interconnected Smoke/Heat/CO alarms will sound
• When the device triggering the Switched Input Module resets (i.e. when the contacts switch back) it will automatically reset and all interconnected alarms will cease sounding
• In the event of mains failure, the Switched Input Module will automatically switch to its built-in rechargeable back-up and continue to operate normally as above. The back-up cells can power the unit for up to 2 months
