The MK Sentry YS5716SMET is a robust, all-metal 16-way consumer unit fully compliant with Amendment 3 to BS 7671:2008. Designed for safety and flexibility, it is supplied with a 100A double pole switch disconnector and a pre-installed Type 2 Surge Protection Device (SPD). Supporting up to 12 outgoing RCBOs or MCBs, this unit is ideal for both residential and light commercial environments where enhanced protection and total circuit isolation are required.
- Integrated Surge Protection: Supplied with a factory-fitted Type 2 SPD to protect sensitive electrical equipment from transient overvoltages caused by switching or lightning strikes.
- 100A Main Isolator: Double pole switch disconnector provides complete isolation of all circuits during maintenance or in an emergency.
- Supports Up to 12 Circuits: Offers 16 total ways, with 12 available for RCBOs or MCBs and the remainder accommodating the SPD and isolator.
- Amendment 3 Compliant: Manufactured from non-combustible Zintec steel with a modern MK white powder-coated finish for durability and visual appeal.
- Installer-Friendly Features: Includes offset incomer, floating busbar system, removable DIN rail, colour-coded terminals, and multiple knockouts for easy cable entry and tidy wiring.
