The MK Sentry YS5712SMET is a 12-way all-metal consumer unit, designed for total circuit isolation and protection with the added benefit of integrated surge protection. Fully compliant with Amendment 3 to BS 7671:2008, this unit includes a 100A double pole switch disconnector and a factory-fitted Type 2 Surge Protection Device (SPD). It supports up to 8 RCBOs or MCBs and is ideal for residential or light commercial installations where additional protection from overvoltage and flexible distribution are required.
- Pre-Fitted Surge Protection: Supplied with an integrated Type 2 SPD to safeguard equipment from transient overvoltages caused by lightning or switching events.
- 100A Double Pole Main Switch: Offers full isolation of all connected circuits for enhanced safety and control.
- Expandable Configuration: Supports up to 8 outgoing circuits using RCBOs or MCBs with a full-width DIN rail for added modular flexibility.
- Amendment 3 Compliant: Constructed from non-combustible Zintec steel with modern white powder-coated finish, meeting the latest wiring safety standards.
- Installer-Friendly Design: Top-hinged door, floating busbar, offset incomer, colour-coded terminals, and large knockouts ensure efficient, tidy installations.
