The Type CW 20mm Gland Kit is a light-duty brass solution for terminating XLPE/PVC steel wire armoured (SWA) cables in environments where an IP66-rated seal is essential. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, it provides secure mechanical retention, earth continuity, and environmental protection via the cable’s outer sheath.

  • IP66 Environmental Seal: Forms a secure seal on the outer sheath of SWA cables, maintaining IP66 protection when fitted with a sealing gasket.
  • Two-Piece Gland Design: Captive cone system ensures effective clamping and earthing without twisting the steel wire armouring.
  • Indoor & Outdoor Use: Suitable for use in both internal and external applications where environmental sealing is required.
  • Durable Brass Construction: Manufactured from corrosion-resistant brass for long-lasting strength and reliability.
