The Astroflame AFDLCOVM Downlight Cover is designed to restore fire integrity to ceilings compromised by downlight installations. Suitable for commercial settings, it expands in a fire to prevent the spread of flames and insulate ceiling voids, helping protect structural safety and nearby materials.

  • Up to 60-Minute Fire Rating: Certified to provide 30 or 60 minutes of fire protection in ceiling installations.
  • Expanding Intumescent Core: Reacts to heat by expanding internally, sealing voids to prevent fire penetration.
  • Prevents Heat Build-Up: Ventilated design protects against overheating from the downlight itself.
  • Quick and Easy Fit: Self-supporting and simple to install without special tools or additional fixings.
  • Certified Acoustic & Fire Tested: Conforms to BS EN 1365-2:2000 and BS 476-23 for fire performance and also offers sound insulation.
